Because Amazon stopped doing it. Starting January 1, 2026, Amazon no longer offers prep and item labeling services for FBA shipments in the US store. Every unit has to arrive at Amazon already labeled and packaged to its requirements, whether you prep it yourself or use a prep center.
That turns prep from an Amazon checkbox into your job. Get it wrong and a shipment can be delayed or refused at receiving, and every day inventory is stuck is a day a listing can stock out.

Parcels, pallets and containers from your factory are received, counted and checked for damage before anything goes to Amazon, so problems surface here and not at Amazon's dock.

We record lot numbers and expiration dates when stock arrives and ship the earliest-dated stock first, both to Amazon and to customers. Storage is room temperature only. We do not offer refrigerated, frozen or other cold chain storage, so we are not the right fit for products that need it.
