Amazon Agencies With Their Own 3PL: Which Ones Run Fulfillment In-House

Updated September 25, 2026

Key Takeaways

  • Few Amazon agencies run their own warehouse. We found seven firms that state on their own sites that they combine Amazon management with fulfillment or prep they operate themselves.
  • There are three different models. Agencies that own one warehouse, fulfillment networks that added a marketing team, and accelerators that buy your inventory and sell it as the seller.
  • Seller Fulfilled Prime approval is rare and worth checking. Only two firms on this list, AMZ Prep and Marknology, state that they are approved for Seller Fulfilled Prime.
  • The model decides who owns your inventory and your customer. A service agency works in your Seller Central account; an accelerator usually becomes the seller of record.
  • Ask for proof, not a logo. Cutoff times, weekend shipping, lot and expiration tracking, and who answers the phone at the warehouse tell you more than any list.

Disclosure: Marknology wrote this article and is one of the firms listed. We run our own warehouse in Kansas City, so we have a stake in this topic. To keep it fair, the list is unranked, every competitor fact comes from that firm's own website as of September 2026, and there is a section on when another firm is a better fit than us.

The Amazon agencies that run fulfillment in-house fall into three groups. Marknology, Clearsight and RNB Merchandise manage Amazon and operate their own warehouse. AMZ Prep and Cart.com are fulfillment networks with marketplace marketing services. Pattern and Neato operate warehouses and act as the seller, buying inventory from the brand. Which one fits depends on whether you want to keep your account, your inventory and your pricing.

Why does it matter if an Amazon agency runs its own warehouse?

Most Amazon agencies manage advertising, listings and account health, and leave inventory to the brand, a freight forwarder and a separate third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse. That works until something breaks between the two. A stockout, a rejected Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) shipment or a batch labeled wrong usually starts on the warehouse floor and shows up weeks later as lost rank and wasted ad spend. When the same team runs both, the person who sees the ad data can walk over and look at the pallet.

It matters more now for three reasons:

  • Amazon stopped doing prep. Amazon ended its FBA prep and labeling services in the US in 2026, so every brand now needs someone else to label, bundle and prep inventory before it reaches a fulfillment center.
  • Multichannel is normal. Brands that sell on Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop and Shopify want one pool of inventory, not four. An in-house warehouse can ship all of them from the same shelf.
  • Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) is open again. SFP lets a brand keep the Prime badge while shipping from its own warehouse, but it only works with a warehouse that can hit Amazon's speed and tracking standards every day, including weekends. Our guide to Seller Fulfilled Prime 3PLs covers the rules.

How did we choose the firms on this list?

We used four rules, and we applied them to ourselves too.

  1. The firm says it operates the fulfillment. Its own website has to state that it runs a warehouse, fulfillment network or prep operation. Resellers of someone else's 3PL and "partner networks" did not count.
  2. The firm offers Amazon management. Advertising, listings, account management or full marketplace operation, stated on its own site. Pure 3PLs are in a separate note at the end.
  3. Facts come from the firm's own pages. Warehouse size, location and Seller Fulfilled Prime status are included only when the firm states them. We did not add ratings, headcounts, prices or revenue claims.
  4. No ranking. The firms are grouped by business model with a "best for" label, because the right choice depends on the brand, not on a score.

We checked every page in September 2026. Warehouses open, close and move, so confirm details directly before you sign.

Which Amazon agencies manage Amazon and run their own warehouse?

These are service agencies. You keep your seller account, your inventory and your pricing. The agency runs the marketing and the warehouse for you.

Marknology

What they do: Marknology is a Kansas City agency founded in 2014 that manages Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop creator programs and Shopify under one team. Founder Andrew Morgans has sold on Amazon since 2011. The team has worked with more than 300 brands and managed more than 2 billion dollars in revenue across them.

Where the warehouse is: A 20,000 square foot warehouse in Kansas City, run by the same company. See the Kansas City 3PL page.

Notable capabilities: The warehouse is approved for Seller Fulfilled Prime. Orders received by noon Central ship the same day. It handles FBA prep, merchant fulfilled orders, Shopify and marketplace orders from one inventory pool. Engagements start with a 90-day minimum, then run month to month.

Best for: Brands roughly 1 million to 200 million dollars in sales that want one team accountable for Amazon marketing, other channels and fulfillment, especially brands that want to test Seller Fulfilled Prime. Why a central location helps is covered in why brands use a 3PL in Kansas City.

Clearsight

What they do: Clearsight describes itself as a marketplace operating firm, established in 2019, that manages Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop and Chewy for mid-market brands. Its Amazon work covers Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP and Sponsored TV, plus catalog and distribution.

Where the warehouse is: South Bend, Indiana. Clearsight states it runs its own 60,000 square foot warehouse there.

Notable capabilities: FBA prep, Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) staging, merchant fulfilled (FBM), Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) prep, direct-to-consumer and retail inbound under one roof, plus bundling, kitting and labeling. Its site does not mention Seller Fulfilled Prime.

Best for: Mid-market brands in the categories Clearsight names, including CPG, pet, beauty, hardware, housewares and outdoor, that sell on Amazon and Chewy and want prep and marketplace management in one place.

RNB Merchandise

What they do: RNB Merchandise offers Amazon storefront management, image optimization, advertising campaigns, listing optimization and inventory management.

Where the warehouse is: Fountain Inn, South Carolina. RNB states it runs a 42,000 square foot warehouse.

Notable capabilities: Multichannel fulfillment, Amazon prep, shipping and returns from its own building. Its site does not mention Seller Fulfilled Prime.

Best for: Brands that want Amazon brand management and a Southeast warehouse for prep, returns and multichannel orders.

Which fulfillment companies also manage Amazon marketing?

These firms started or grew as logistics networks and offer marketplace marketing on top. The strength is scale and geography. The question to ask is how closely the marketing team and the warehouse team work together day to day.

AMZ Prep

What they do: AMZ Prep is an FBA prep and 3PL company that also offers full Amazon advertising management, including Amazon DSP, through Sequence, a Canadian commerce agency it acquired. Its marketing services also cover Walmart, Instacart, Target, TikTok and Costco.

Where the warehouses are: AMZ Prep states it has more than 50 warehouses across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.

Notable capabilities: AMZ Prep states it is an Amazon approved SFP partner with temperature controlled facilities and Saturday dispatch as standard. Its food and beverage page lists FDA-registered facilities, frozen, refrigerated and ambient zones, lot tracking and first expired, first out (FEFO) routing.

Best for: Brands that need prep or fulfillment in several regions or countries, including cold or meltable products, and want advertising from the same company.

Cart.com

What they do: Cart.com offers marketplace services that include Amazon advertising run by dedicated PPC specialists, listing copy and A+ content, storefront design, Seller Central and Vendor Central account health, and brand protection support for Amazon Brand Registry, IP Accelerator and Transparency.

Where the warehouses are: Cart.com lists nine fulfillment centers in Ohio, Texas, Utah, Tennessee, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, Arizona and Maryland.

Notable capabilities: FBA prep and labeling tied to its marketplace team, plus direct-to-consumer, B2B and retail fulfillment. Its site does not mention Seller Fulfilled Prime.

Best for: Larger direct-to-consumer brands that want a national fulfillment footprint and marketplace services on one contract, including brands on Vendor Central.

Which firms buy your inventory and run fulfillment themselves?

This is a different model. An accelerator or reseller buys inventory from the brand, sells it on Amazon under its own seller account, and handles logistics. The brand trades control of price, account and customer data for a simpler wholesale relationship. For some manufacturers that is exactly right. Our article on Amazon reseller vs agency goes deeper on the tradeoff.

Pattern

What they do: Pattern, based in Lehi, Utah, describes itself as a third-party (3P) seller on Amazon and says it operates across more than 70 marketplaces globally.

Where the warehouses are: Pattern lists its own warehouses, a marketplace prep service and a middle mile service into Amazon fulfillment centers. Its site gives the Lehi headquarters but not individual warehouse locations.

Notable capabilities: Prep, replenishment, returns and direct-to-consumer shipping as part of its fulfillment service. Its site does not mention Seller Fulfilled Prime.

Best for: Established brands that want global marketplace reach and are comfortable with Pattern operating as the seller.

Neato

What they do: Neato states that it buys the brand's inventory, owns the P&L and operates Amazon end to end.

Where the warehouse is: Las Vegas, Nevada, in what Neato describes as a 50,000 square foot semi-automated facility.

Notable capabilities: In-house fulfillment tied to its own selling. Its site does not mention Seller Fulfilled Prime.

Best for: CPG brands and manufacturers that prefer to sell wholesale and hand off Amazon completely.

What should you ask before trusting an agency's in-house 3PL?

A warehouse on a website is not the same as a warehouse that ships your orders on a Saturday in December. Ask every firm these questions, including us.

  1. Is the warehouse owned and operated by you, or by a partner? Many agencies refer work to a 3PL and add a margin. That can be fine, but you should know who you are actually trusting.
  2. What is the daily order cutoff, and do you ship on weekends? Seller Fulfilled Prime and fast merchant fulfilled delivery both depend on it.
  3. Are you approved for Seller Fulfilled Prime from this building? Amazon enrolls seller accounts, not warehouses, so ask how many accounts currently ship SFP from there.
  4. How do you track lots and expiration dates? Food, supplements and beauty products need lot tracking and first expired, first out picking. See our guide to selling food and beverage on Amazon.
  5. Who owns the seller account and the inventory? In a service agency, you do. In a reseller or accelerator model, the partner usually does.
  6. How are storage, pick and pack, and prep billed? Get the rate card in writing. Our breakdown of what a 3PL costs shows what to compare.
  7. Can the ad team see inventory in real time? The point of one company doing both is that advertising slows down before a stockout, not after.

Not sure which model fits your catalog? Our Growth Diagnostic audits your Amazon account, your own site, TikTok Shop and other marketplaces, including how your fulfillment setup affects Prime eligibility and ad spend, and ends with a 90-day roadmap. It is credited to your first month if you work with us.

When is another firm a better fit than Marknology?

We run one warehouse in one city. That is a strength for control and a limit for reach. Another firm on this list may suit you better if:

  • You need fulfillment in several countries. AMZ Prep states warehouses in the US, Canada, the UK and Europe. Pattern states it operates on more than 70 marketplaces.
  • You need frozen or refrigerated storage. AMZ Prep lists frozen and refrigerated zones on its food and beverage page. Confirm cold chain needs with any firm before you sign.
  • You want multiple US fulfillment points for two-day ground coverage on both coasts. Cart.com lists nine centers. A single central warehouse like ours reaches most of the country in a few carrier zones, but not all of it.
  • You would rather sell wholesale than run a seller account. Pattern and Neato both operate as the seller, which removes Amazon from your daily plate.
  • You sell mainly on Chewy. Clearsight names Chewy among its core channels.

If you want your own account, your own pricing, and one team that can see both the ads and the shelves, that is the case we are built for. Our pricing page explains how engagements are structured.

What if you only need fulfillment, not an agency?

If your marketing is already handled in-house or by another agency, a pure 3PL may be simpler. ShipBob, ShipMonk, Red Stag Fulfillment, MyFBAPrep and eFulfillment Service are commonly listed 3PL and prep options for Amazon sellers. They do not manage Amazon advertising or listings, so you keep a separate marketing partner. Our 3PL fulfillment guide and the FBA vs FBM comparison will help you decide what to outsource. Frequently Asked Questions

Do any Amazon agencies have their own warehouse?

Yes, but only a handful. Marknology (Kansas City), Clearsight (South Bend, Indiana) and RNB Merchandise (Fountain Inn, South Carolina) state that they manage Amazon and run their own warehouse. AMZ Prep and Cart.com are fulfillment networks that also offer marketplace marketing.

Which Amazon agencies are approved for Seller Fulfilled Prime?

Of the firms we reviewed, AMZ Prep and Marknology state on their own sites that they are approved for Seller Fulfilled Prime. Amazon enrolls seller accounts rather than warehouses, so your own account still has to pass the SFP trial and keep its metrics.

Is it better to use one company for Amazon marketing and fulfillment?

It is often simpler, because the team running ads can see inventory and slow spend before a stockout. It is not always better. If you need several countries, cold storage or many US ship points, a larger fulfillment network may fit, even with a separate marketing partner.

What is the difference between an Amazon agency and an Amazon accelerator?

An agency works inside your seller account for a fee, and you keep the inventory, pricing and customer data. An accelerator or reseller such as Pattern or Neato buys inventory from you and sells it under its own account. The first gives you control; the second gives you a simpler wholesale relationship.

What should I ask an agency that says it has a 3PL?

Ask whether it owns and operates the warehouse, what the daily cutoff is, whether it ships on weekends, and whether it is approved for Seller Fulfilled Prime. Also ask how it tracks lots and expiration dates and how storage and prep are billed.
