FULL-SERVICE AMAZON AGENCY

Full-Service Amazon Agency: What It Covers and Who It Fits

What is a full-service Amazon agency? It is one team that runs your entire Amazon channel: strategy, listings and creative, advertising, account operations and fulfillment. At Marknology that last part is literal. We run our own warehouse in Kansas City, so the people who plan your ads can also see the stock that pays for them. Drew has sold on Amazon since 2011 and founded Marknology in 2014; the team today is family-run and about 32 people.

WHAT FULL SERVICE MEANS

What does a full-service Amazon agency actually cover?

The phrase gets used loosely. Here is what it should include, and what we do in each area. If an agency calls itself full service but hands off any of these to you, ask who owns the gap.

1. Strategy

Category and competitor research, pricing and margin checks, a forecast and a 90-day plan tied to the goals you set. We review the account against the plan every month and change it when the numbers say to. Brand management

2. Listings and content

Titles, bullets, backend keywords, A+ Content, main and secondary images, video and Brand Store. Copy for regulated categories is checked against Amazon policy and signed off by you before it goes live. Listing optimization and content creation

3. Advertising

Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, plus Amazon DSP (demand side platform) and AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud) audiences when the account is ready for them. Budgets are judged on profit after ad spend, not on ACoS (advertising cost of sale) alone. PPC management and DSP and AMC

4. Account operations

Account health, Seller Central cases, catalog errors, Amazon Brand Registry, and removing counterfeit or unauthorized sellers. This is the work that quietly keeps listings live and the Buy Box yours. Brand protection

5. Inventory and the warehouse

Restock planning, FBA shipments, and our own Kansas City warehouse for FBA prep, Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) and orders from your other channels. Dated products get lot and expiration tracking, earliest-dated stock first. See the warehouse

6. Beyond Amazon

The same team can run your Shopify site, Walmart Marketplace and TikTok Shop, so pricing, stock and messaging stay consistent. Walmart, TikTok Shop and multi-marketplace

SIDE BY SIDE

Full service vs PPC only vs a freelancer stack: which fits your brand?

Three common ways product brands staff their Amazon channel, and where each one tends to work.

Full-service agency PPC-only agency Freelancer stack
Who owns the overall result The agency, across every lever The agency, for ad performance only You, since each freelancer owns one task
Strategy and forecasting Included Usually ad budgets only Your team
Listings, images and A+ Content Included, written and designed in house Suggestions at most Separate copywriter and designer
Advertising (Sponsored Ads, DSP) Included Core service A PPC freelancer
Account health, cases and Brand Registry Included Usually not Whoever has time
Inventory planning and fulfillment Included; ours runs its own warehouse Not included Your team or a separate 3PL
Walmart, TikTok Shop and your own site Can be run by the same team Sometimes ads only More freelancers
Coordination between pieces Handled inside the agency Your team connects ads to everything else Your team connects everything
How you usually pay A monthly management fee, sometimes with a performance component A monthly fee or a percent of ad spend Hourly or per project, per person
Usually best for Brands that want one accountable team for the whole channel Brands with strong listings and ops that only need ads run well Small catalogs or one clearly defined project

WHY IT MATTERS

Why does full service beat a pile of specialists?

Because most Amazon problems cross the lines between specialists. A few we see often:

  • •Ads on a listing that does not convert. A PPC manager can lower bids, but the fix is usually the main image, the price or the reviews. When one team owns both, the fix goes where the problem is.
  • •Growth that runs into a stockout. Pushing ads harder in the weeks before stock runs out spends money to lose rank. We plan ad pacing against the restock date.
  • •A suppressed listing nobody is watching. Catalog errors, policy flags and hijacked listings sit between departments. Someone has to own account health every day.
  • •Revenue that is not profit. Our own pet brand, Waggedy, did about $500K on Chewy without making a profit. That lesson is why we judge every channel on contribution after fees, ads and fulfillment, not on top-line sales.
HOW WE WORK

How does Marknology run a full-service account?

  1. Diagnose first. We start by reviewing the account, your own site and your fulfillment, and agree on the goals and the numbers that define success.
  2. Build the 90-day plan. Priorities are ranked by expected impact: usually listing and content fixes first, then advertising structure, then expansion.
  3. One team, one channel in Slack. Your account manager works with our PPC, content and warehouse teams, and with Drew and the leadership team. You see what is being done and why.
  4. Report on profit, not activity. Monthly reviews cover sales, ad spend, contribution and what we are changing next.
  5. Terms you can plan around. A 90-day minimum, then month to month.

Who we are

Marknology is a family-run agency in Kansas City. Drew (Andrew Morgans) founded it in 2014 after selling on Amazon since 2011, and his sisters Brooklyn (COO) and Veronika (CMO) run operations alongside him. We have worked with more than 300 brands, and supported 12 brand exits on the Amazon side, getting the channel ready for a sale. Meet the team or browse case studies.

Industries we know well

Most of our clients are product brands: CPG, food and beverage, beauty, skincare and supplements, pet, home, and manufacturers selling direct.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a full-service Amazon agency do?

A full-service Amazon agency runs the whole Amazon channel for a brand as one team: strategy and forecasting, listings and creative, advertising, account health and brand protection, and inventory and fulfillment. The point is that one group owns the result, instead of each vendor owning one piece.

How is a full-service agency different from a PPC-only agency?

A PPC-only agency manages advertising and usually stops there. A full-service agency also fixes the things ads depend on, such as listings, images, reviews, stock levels and account health, so ad spend is not wasted on a page that does not convert or a product that is about to stock out.

Is a full-service Amazon agency worth it compared with hiring freelancers?

Freelancers can be cheaper per task and work well for a single, well defined job. The cost shows up in coordination: someone on your team has to set strategy, brief each person and connect ads, content and inventory. A full-service agency makes sense when you want one accountable team rather than managing several specialists yourself.

Does Marknology run its own warehouse?

Yes. Marknology runs its own 20,000 square foot warehouse in Kansas City. It handles FBA prep and shipments into Amazon, is approved for Seller Fulfilled Prime, ships same day on orders received by noon Central, and fulfills Shopify, Walmart and TikTok Shop orders from the same stock.

What are Marknology's contract terms?

Engagements have a 90-day minimum, then continue month to month. Pricing depends on the scope and the channels involved, and our pricing page explains how agency fees are structured.

What kind of brands use a full-service Amazon agency?

Product brands that want Amazon run as a real sales channel: retail and CPG brands, direct to consumer brands, and manufacturers selling direct for the first time. Most are established brands doing roughly 1 million dollars or more a year across their channels.
